No, it won't work as you haven't included any dates!
Try using this:
AND to_date(EPR_CTFLIEDO_D.DATE_PREL, 'ddmmyyyy') BETWEEN trunc(sysdate)-1 AND trunc(sysdate)
Caveat: I DON'T USE ORACLE but managed to find that in about 3 seconds, so don't blame me if it doesn't work. Maybe someone else who uses Oracle will chime in if you need further Oracle specific advice.
