How to display search and result list in same start screen

Hi all,

          I have a requirement to display search screen(start) and result screen(List) in the same screen (client initiated screen).

Note:here list view is MBO screen

Is it possible?

If yes how can i achieve this.

Through javascript in custom.js or through adding list view (from controls) and adding cells & fields for cells.
