As a SAP employee you have the chance to go and get in touch with development, product management or even SAP management. Why not use this channel instead of asking something like this here?
If you want my personal opinion, I'd say that such a feature doesn't make sense in the context of database processing. What do you use it on Oracle for (except testing for timeouts?).
In case you want to implement some "business rule" by using this wait option, then why not use the XS engine instead?
