There is no documentation. I just did the debug.
Some ideas, SAPMKKRD Refers to tcode KKRA. I was working with KKRC. Indeed, you can cumulate with both tcodes.
1: KKRC: This is CO Sumarization. I show the FM used in this method to select orders, the previos screen of KKBC_HOE was created with this tcode.
2: KKRA: This is Sumarization based on the Clasification system (table AUSP). This is a bit more complex at abap level, but also you can select CO07 orders with this tcode.
Cheking the config (in my other post i just ran a variant that i created some time ago), guess you are not cumulating at order level. I think this is the key point.
For KKRA you have to use OKTO to do the hierarchy definition. Create a hierarchy that only have the order, so no Material. like this:
