I'd like to point out that compression="force" is no longer supported after Tomcat6 and above. Check out SAP BO KB 1700894 - Errors when attempting to create a new Webi Report in BI 4.0 - "Error. Click for details" and com.sap.webi.ui.jrp.WebIAppletStartup not found on http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1700894.
